‼️ We must fix debt challenges in SIDS before they become debt crises.

SIDS debt rose from 42.3% of GDP in 2000 to ≈ 60% of GDP in 2022.
Challenges worsen for countries most vulnerable to climate shocks. High recovery cost➡️ debt vulnerability.
