Rich countries still don’t want to pay their climate change tab

This would be separate from the $100bn (£74bn) already pledged – a target the world has already missed for 2020 which is now set for 2023.
IRENA and Alliance of Small Island States sign energy transition agreement
December 6, 2021The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) have signed an agreement at COP26, known as ‘Adaptation Day’, that will see the two organisations work closely to mobilise climate finance and to advance the deployment of renewable energy across Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
